Do you feel your TV isn’t giving you the brightness or crispness that you see on other sets? Whether it’s an older TV that’s technology isn’t up to par or a newer set that isn’t a 4K, the people at DARBEE Vision make that a problem of the past..
Introducing the DARBEE DVP-5000S HDMI Video Processor
The DVP-5000S is an external HDMI video processor which significantly increases clarity and depth of standard- and high-definition video signals (up to 1080p) through DARBEE Visual Presence V.2.0 technology. With adjustable modes and settings, it’s perfect for casual viewers and videophiles alike.
What comes in the box:
- DVP-5000s video processor
- 1 HDMI cable (2 are needed in total)
- Remote control (with included batteries)
- 5V DC power adapter
- IR Blaster
- International power plug adapters
Set Up:
Connecting the video processor is as easily as can be. There is an HDMI input on one side that connects from your video source (DVR, DVD player, game console, etc.) as well as a spot for the power cord and the IR blaster (allows you to hide the unit and still be able to control it). The other side has one other HDMI output to connect to your TV or screen source.
How it works:
The DARBEE Visual Presence V 2.0 technology creates a video image with enhanced visual fidelity. This image processing solution for enhancement of all video sources (up to 1080p) creates an image that appears to have an exceptional level of depth, clarity and realism. DARBEE’s Visual Presence V 2.0 technology is adjustable; you get to choose the effect that pleases you the most, given the broad video quality spectrum that you might encounter, ranging from pristine BluRay down to low-resolution web videos.
This can be used for digital TV’s, cable/satellite boxes, video game consoles, DVD players and more…
The three modes available via buttons on the remote control are: High Def, Gaming & Full Pop
Once you have the DVP-5000S connected, it’s very easy to change any of the three presets as well as have the processor do a “sweep” of the screen so you can see the difference instantly. Another option is to split the screen in half so one side shows the original program and the other side shows the enhanced version.
Overall, I think the idea and technology are great and do work but I didn’t find a big difference in the video/color quality being enhanced, at least on my TV set. It works but not enough for me to give this a 5 star rating…
The DARBEE DVP-5000S sells for $199 but you can buy it now for $179 if you click HERE.
