Kickstarter Spotlight: HandyCase

HandyCase-web

After my weekly Kickstarter  review, I will always share my top finds.  LIFX, Pebble, and Coolest Cooler all got their starts on Kickstarter – Handscape is a sure bet to follow.

It’s probably safe to say that most of us have at least one mobile device if not more. Taking a step even further, we probably all have some type of case or cover on that device(s) as well to insurance our investments don’t get damaged.

Let me introduce you to HandScape, the people behind the HandyCase. It’s a new type of case for Apple’s iPad Air & Mini as well the iPhone 6 & 6+ Series.

HandScape’s claim is that they are “re-inventing touch.” They have built a case that allows users to use their fingers to tap and swipe their mobile device from BEHIND without obscuring the screen with their hands…

It’s actually really amazing and awesome to see how this work (I recommend checking out their video found at bottom of the page).

Once you put the device into the case, they connect via Bluetooth. Then the fun of bringing various games, maps, e-books and other next-generation apps to life begins… You can even tweak their “transparent technology” so your hands can look like human, robot, x-ray hands and more…

The HandyCase is currently in pre-order phase through Kickstarter and the pricing currently is (with the several color choices):

iPhone 6 /6s : $119 ($99 through Kickstarter)

iPhone 6+ /6s+ : $129 ($109 through Kickstarter)

iPad Mini : $159 ($139 through Kickstarter)

iPad Air : $169 ($149 through Kickstarter)

iPad Pro : $209 ($189 through Kickstarter)

Even though I haven’t had a chance to check out any of the cases… I see this as being a big hit!

Rob’s Ratings: 9/10
